Around this time, other teams were finishing their exams one after another. They all noticed Bruce standing there.
Word spread quickly. Soon everyone knew the former top team had been kicked out of the villa by Joanna.
Some people felt sorry for Bruce and approached him. “Hey Bruce, don’t just stand here waiting. Joanna’s running the Spider Lady dungeon right now, carrying people to level up. Looks like she’s pulling an all-nighter. If you want to find her, head to the dungeon plaza p>

But before, they always went as a team.
Bruce hesitated, then stayed rooted in place.

The classmate next to him felt like the guy was about to shatter.

The villa lights came on.
Bruce, still standing outside, instantly perked up. His eyes locked onto the villa.
Inside the villa, Joanna had no idea what was happening outside. She whipped up some late- night snacks.
In the living room, she and Nighthowl prepared a spread of dishes, then started a food livestream.
This late-night food temptation immediately triggered her fans. They popped extra nutritional bars while furiously calling Joanna “absolutely unhinged p>
The cheerful tone and laughter could be heard even by Bruce, who had been waiting outside for 20 hours.
After eating, Joanna started tallying up her gains.
First, experience. Nighthowl had finally reached Level 9.
Joanna was still Level 11, but her XP bar had hit 39 p>
On the SAT, every level increase added 2 points to your score.
