That meant the Spider Lady dungeon was no longer suitable.

In these dungeons, every cleared stage increased the number and strength of monsters.
The higher the stage, the harder it became.
The advantage was that a single run allowed players to clear many stages in a row.
Of course, the difficulty was extreme. But the more stages you cleared, the better the rewards.
Right now, based on the guides Joanna had unlocked, there were four options: Trial Grounds, Fruit vs. Zombies, Star Battle, and Wooden Sword Run.
Trial Grounds was a boss-challenge dungeon.
Fruit vs. Zombies allowed players to plant crops to help defend against waves of zombies.

Star Battle was a space combat game where players piloted starships and destroyed endless enemy fleets.
Wooden Sword Run was the strangest-and most tempting. Inside that dungeon, players picked up weapons that could evolve endlessly. The wooden sword spun around the player’s body at all times. The more wooden swords you absorbed, the higher your attack power became. Monsters flooded in nonstop from every direction.
Rumor said someone once cleared the entire dungeon. Their wooden sword evolved into a mythic-tier weapon, and they even managed to bring it out of the dungeon.
In terms of monster count, Wooden Sword Run was easily the most intense.
But it came with a deadly flaw. Every player had only 1 HP. You could revive after dying, but it was a PvP dungeon.
Countless professional players got addicted to it. They slaughtered each other day after day, convinced they were just one run away from clearing it and getting a mythic weapon. Instead, they wasted endless time. Their HP kept dropping. In the end, many of them were completely ruined.
Joanna crossed that option off immediately.

Meanwhile, Lucas, Cedric, Neil, and Rhoda received the message and rushed to the hospital.

Everyone had been moved into ordinary dorms. Lucas had been holding in his frustration the whole time. In the end, he simply announced a one-day break for the team. No activities. No training.

After some back-and-forth talks, they tentatively agreed on a sponsorship worth over ten million dollars.
Today, Lucas planned to take everyone to sign the contract.
When he went to gather the team, Bruce was nowhere to be found.
After moving their luggage the day before, Lucas had said there were no further plans. Cedric spent the entire day gaming. Neil, who still had some drive left, spent the whole day studying guides for Desolate Castle.
Rhoda went to train in the public training room, but her heart felt empty.
Roseflare had a favorite training room she used often. Now, she was the only one inside it. Her former teammates were probably training in their private training room in the villa.
The bitterness was hard to put into words.
She never expected that in just one day, one of her teammates would end up hospitalized.
When she heard that Bruce had spent the past 20 hours standing guard outside their old villa, anger rose in her chest.
“What is he thinking? We’re still missing one battle record. Desolate Castle hasn’t been fully explored yet. If we fail again, we’ll be forced to clear a low-level dungeon instead. Once we register like that, the best we can aim for is Violetlight University. We won’t even come close to Prismbridge University p>
