He raised his hand again but then stopped himself and took a step back like he was trying to regain control of himself.

He walked toward the stairs and paused at the bottom to look back at me one more time.
‘And when he’s dead and you’re broken I’m going to keep you alive for a very long time so you can think about how this all could have been avoided if you had just kept his name out of your mouth that night p>
