Honestly, the moment he’d run into Caitlin on the flight, Jimmy had guessed he’d see her again on the return trip. It was just too obvious. Cassidy must have sent Caitlin his flight details ahead of time. Otherwise, things this coincidental just didn’t happen in real life.
He hadn’t been bothered by Caitlin before, but now, he was starting to feel a bit put off. He didn’t mind a woman taking the initiative. What he did mind was someone pretending otherwise-pushing everything off as ‘fate’ and refusing to own up to her own scheming.

Half an hour later, Jimmy and Norman boarded the plane.

Jimmy always flew coach, and this time, he and Norman had seats together in a two-seat row by the aisle. The spot across the aisle was empty close enough to be considered together even i technically separated by the
walkway.
After they settled in, Norman kept glancing around, clearly hoping to spot Caitlin. But minutes ticked by, and the seat across the aisle remained empty.
Finally, Norman grinned. “Told you, Jimmy! You’re just imagining things. She’s not even here, and it’s almost time to go p>
“What’s the rush?” Jimmy didn’t even look up from his newspaper. “We’ve still got twenty minutes before takeoff p>
As if on cue, a young woman in a blue dress appeared, wheeling her suitcase down the aisle.
From where Jimmy sat, eyes on his paper, all he could see was the hem of her sky blue dress and a pair of pale ankles. She stopped fight by their row and began hoisting her suitcase into the overhead compartment.
