Chapter 135

Beatrice sat inside the cab as she ordered the driver to drive to the production house before looking out of the car, opening the window enough to breathe happily.

Things were finally starting to work in her favor.

And she was happy about it.

She looked at her phone when it pinged with an incoming message from her assistant.

(The amount you requested has been delivered p>

Beatrice chuckled at the message, almost catching the driver off guard, who cleared his throat and focused on the road.

She set the phone aside and closed her eyes, letting her body and mind relax. After all, they had been under a great deal of stress.

As she thought about everything going on around her, her lips lifted when she remembered the expression on Sean’s face.

She still vaguely remembered how she had been thinking of spending the night with Andrew when he had come to the house drunk because he had argued with Elara, whom he had met in the hospital.

However, before she could even think of using the opportunity and showing her seducing skills, her phone rang with an incoming call from an unknown number.

She declined the call, but when the phone kept ringing, she couldn’t help but pick up.

A couple of hours before Sean’s death.

Beatrice picked up the call.

“Who is this? Why are you—?” Beatrice raised her voice, stopping when she heard the person on the other end.

The man couldn’t speak properly, but she could recognise the voice anywhere.

(Bea, it’s me, Sean. I need your help. Please.) A message soon arrived without ending the call.

To say Beatrice’s eyes widened when she heard his voice would be an understatement.

She quickly rushed to the guest room and locked the door, walking inside the bathroom before turning the tap on, ensuring no one would hear her.

“Sean? What is this all about? What’s going on? You kidnapped Elara? Do you even know what kind of mess you have created here? Andrew is furious!” Beatrice asked, suppressing the urge to shout at the man.

The phone went silent for some time before she heard his groan of pain. He sounded like he was struggling a lot.

(I know what I did, and I have paid for it. Macros…they… I can’t really speak. Please come here and help me. They have stripped me naked. I barely got this phone from a girl by threatening her p>

Another message came.

Beatrice froze. Sean couldn’t speak? What exactly did they do to him?

“Sean, I know you are suffering and need help. I’ll send someone to help you, but I can’t come myself. You know how things are. I need to be with Andrew and use this opportunity to sleep with him. And what if Andrew finds I went there to help him? It will be over for me. Someone will reach there in time. It’s a promise,” Beatrice said, her heart beating fast.

The man groaned on the other end.

He didn’t say anything for some time. No message came.

She sighed in relief and was about to end the call when another message popped up.

(I have always taken your side, no matter what. This is how you pay me back? Don’t forget I am in this situation because of you in the first place. You can sleep with him anytime. Come here and help me, or the consequences will be dire p>

The message said.

Beatrice read the message again and again, cursing her luck mentally.

Another message pinged, and she opened it with trembling hands, as it was getting harder to control her rage.

As soon as she read the message, to say she wanted nothing more than to strangle Sean would be an understatement.

Her eyes turned furious, and she pulled the phone close to her mouth.

“I am coming. Send the address,” she said before ending the call.

She walked out of the guest room and looked at Andrew’s room longingly before making her way out of the house.

She sat inside the car and stopped it at some distance from the actual location.

Beatrice walked for some distance until she found a silhouette sitting on a small rock behind a tree.

She looked at Sean, who had covered his manhood with a polythene bag, his body bruised and scarred with wound marks and dried blood.

His eyes were bloodshot from humiliation, and Beatrice felt a little sense of pity for him.

“Sean,” Beatrice said.

The man looked up, his eyes full of hope, before he rushed to her and hugged her.

Beatrice closed her eyes, barely containing her disgust. She was wearing a designer dress, and now it was all ruined.

Sean quickly grabbed the phone and typed a message.

“That bitch Elara burnt my tongue! I can’t believe she could be so inhumane,” Sean typed in the notebook and showed it to Beatrice.

Beatrice arched her brows. It was news to her. Then again, wasn’t he the one who pushed the girl to her limits and forced her to do something like that?

“Why did you have to humiliate her?” Beatrice asked.

Sean looked at her with anger and grabbed her hair in a fist, yanking her head to the side before he let go, finding it hard to communicate.

“Are you really taking her side?” He asked through the notebook on the phone.

Beatrice read the message before she snapped Sean’s hand, making the phone fall to the side.

Sean’s eyes widened, and he quickly fell to the side to check the phone that had turned off.

He looked up with anger and was about to slap her when Beatrice held his hand.

“Was what you said true? If I didn’t follow your command, would you have told Andrew about us? About how I slept with you? On the construction site and many times before that?” Beatrice asked.

Sean smiled, his menacing smile looking ugly, and the more Beatrice looked at him, the more hatred she felt.

“So you were thinking of becoming an obstacle for me? A mere dog, whom I just used to satisfy my sex needs, wanted to bite me back?” Beatrice scoffed.

Sean looked at Beatrice with frustration because she called him a dog. He closed the gap between them and wrapped his fingers around her throat, unable to shout because of what Elara did to him.

“Aaa!” He tried to make a noise to let her know not to joke about such a topic, but because he could not make another sound, Beatrice kicked him in his balls, making the man double over and fall on the ground.

Then she walked to the car and pulled out an iron rod from the trunk.

She had already noticed him limping earlier. Thus, even if he tried to run, he wouldn’t be able to make it far.

Sean’s pupils dilated when he saw the iron rod in her hand as realization finally dawned upon him.

Beatrice wasn’t there to help him.

“You guessed it right, Sean. I hate it when people threaten me. You knew it, right? After all, you watched me tormenting girls in our class for a long time before. What made you think it would be okay for you to do so?” Beatrice said before she ran behind him.

Sean, who tried to run, fell shortly, shaking his head in denial and joining his hands to plead with her for mercy, but the girl just smiled before she walked behind him and placed the rod around his neck.

She pulled back with all her strength. The man had already been beaten black and blue and had little strength to struggle, which made her work even easier.

“You shouldn’t have threatened me p>

It wasn’t long before the man’s body went limp, and as soon as she confirmed he was dead, she started her art on his body to ensure no one would ever find out who killed her.

After all, every logic signalled towards Elara and Macros, and that was exactly how it was supposed to be.

Present time.

The more Beatrice thought about how everyone would go in circles and keep finding trouble with Elara, the happier she felt.

Because who would want a newbie with such controversy in their drama? It was a win-win situation from all sides.
