I was so pissed I actually started crying.
I’d been on high alert all night, making sure I didn’t breathe in anything suspicious, only to get nailed by the very trap I’d set for Samantha.

A few hours later, I drifted back.
Cassian was standing by the bed, fully dressed.

I seriously didn’t get Samantha. She could have had the throne, but she was so damn scared of him. Why?
