And so, under the gaze of the entire room, Lilian accepted the final shares of Million Corp and publicly announced that Skyreach Group now held full controlling interest in the company.

A suited man approached, a young man in tow. He smiled expectantly, clearly assuming Mr. Austin wouldn’t refuse such a simple request.
But Lilian noticed the brief flash of irritation in Mr. Austin’s expression and was just about to speak when someone else cut in.

Without waiting for a reply, he took her hand and led her away.
When the two men saw it was Jacob, they didn’t dare protest. No one wanted to cross Axen Group-not even by accident.
Walking beside him, Lilian laughed. “Thanks for that. I wasn’t sure how I was going to get rid of that guy p>
Jacob took a glass of orange juice from a passing waiter and swapped it for the wine in her hand.
“No more alcohol. You’re still young-too much will stunt your growth p>
Lilian didn’t argue. She accepted the juice with a smile.
Jacob looked at her. “New year’s almost here. Shouldn’t you treat me to a meal or something p>
She grinned. “Sure. You pick the time-just let me know in advance p>
She was genuinely grateful to him. Even though she’d saved Mr. Arron once, she had to admit—Skyreach Group’s success owed a lot to Jacob’s help.
