Nancy hadn’t expected him to brush her off so completely. She’d even mentioned her family’s company, but he hadn’t spared her a glance. She shot a resentful look at Lilian and fumed inwardly. This is all that b*tch’s fault. If it weren’t for her, there’s no way he would’ve treated me like this.

Even Jacob was stunned-he hadn’t expected Lilian to have such an incredible eye for stones. Everyone always said even gods couldn’t predict what marble lay within, but this little girl had picked 10 lots and landed 7 exceptional pieces. That was practically supernatural.
