Cayden led her to Geo’s study. The first thing that caught her eye was the wall lined with books -more than half of them about the art of calligraphy and painting.
In front of the shelves stood a huanghuali wood desk, neat and orderly, with paper, ink, brushes, and inkstones arranged in perfect rows. There were more than twenty different brushes of varying sizes, and several calligraphy scrolls hung proudly on the walls.

Geo rolled up the scroll and put it away, then signaled for Cayden to step out. The study fell quiet.
His expression grew serious, though his voice remained calm. “Skyreach Group should be moving into Kingston soon, right p>
Lillian’s gaze stayed serene. “That’s right; the preparations have already started. It’s thanks to you that things have gone so smoothly these past two years.” She knew well that the Hawk family had played a critical role in making Skyreach Group’ entry into Kingston so seamless.
Geo waved a hand dismissively. “The Hawk family didn’t actually do much. Every permit for Skyreach Group this past year was approved without delay. There’s someone else behind this…. and I think you know who that is p>

“The real reason I asked you here today,” Geo continued, “is because I need your help with something important. Radovia has developed a drug-one that enhances a person’s physical strength, stamina, and explosive power by tenfold.
If they manage to use this drug on their troops, it will be a serious threat to us. I know Skyreach Group has its own research division, so I want your team to analyze this compound and, if possible, develop a way to counter it p>
