Hans’ tone softened into something conspiratorial. “I don’t know much more, but Ms. Harrington has been making waves in Solara. She’s been seen getting quite cozy with Mr. Ryan and Mr. Wayne from Skyreach Group; I saw it with my own eyes.
I was going to bring it up to Mr. Whitmore, but I have no idea what kind of spell Ms. Harrington cast on him he doesn’t seem to care in the slightest p>
Hans’ assistant chimed in, her voice dripping with disdain. “That’s right. You should’ve been there shameless displays of affection in front of everyone; it was disgraceful. Hans even tried to intervene, but what happened? Not only did they ignore her, they turned it around and made her out to be the bad guy. So ungrateful p>

A cold smile flickered across Noreen’s lips. She’d known from the start that Lillian wasn’t as innocent as she appeared; turns out the girl had been playing both sides all along.
Hans caught that mocking expression and let out a soft sigh. “Mr. Whitmore is only protecting her because he’s blinded by her face. He won’t listen to reason. Honestly, only someone as exceptional as you, Ms. Noreen, truly deserves him. It’s a shame, really p>
Noreen arched a brow, her tone sharp with derision. “You think I don’t see through you? You like Sebastian too, don’t you? Did you think I wouldn’t notice? What is this – trying to play games with me? Do you take me for a fool p>
