Lillian was the first to reach for her fork. She picked up a shrimp without the slightest hesitation, placed it in her mouth, and chewed slowly.

At her expression, Cameron’s curiosity got the better of him. He grabbed his fork, speared a shrimp, and popped it into his mouth.

Hearing that, Noreen’s face lit up with surprise and excitement. She hadn’t expected her first attempt to turn out so well.

Cameron nodded earnestly. “Yep. This is the only volcanic spring in the whole resort. The temperature runs high, but they say it’s great for your health and skin; not that help looking beautiful, Lillian.” He even threw in a playful wink.
