Hearing Jasper’s words, Henry hesitated, silent for a long moment before saying, “Alright… thank you for your time.” Without another word, he turned and left. From the looks of it, finding her now was next to impossible.
With so much work piling up at the company, Henry had no choice but to return to Kingston for the time being.
Outside the executive office at Skyreach Group, Karina paced back and forth, glancing through the glass toward the closed door every few seconds.
