She swung the car into an underground parking lot.
Townsville Plaza was one of Kingston’s premier shopping centers, the kind of place where every luxury brand imaginable had a storefront. Anyone shopping here was bound to be wealthy, influential, or both.
Ashley was clearly no stranger to the place. At every boutique, sales associates lit up at the sight of her, rushing to bring out their newest collections. And Ashley, never one to hesitate, picked out pieces at nearly every stop. Within half an hour, both she and Lillian were juggling armfuls of shopping bags.
Lillian finally collapsed onto a sofa in the lounge, flipping through a fashion magazine, while Ashley sifted through another rack of clothes.

“Lillian, try this one,” Ashley declared, lifting a midnight-blue gown from the rack. The bodice was sleek and strapless, the skirt cascading like a starry night, fading into a galaxy of tiny sparkles.
The sales associate beamed. “Ms. Ashley has impeccable taste. This is our newest arrival-single color, single size. There’s only one in all of Dracovia. And this young lady’s figure is perfect for it p>
