He led her to a quiet bench, and once she sat down, he crouched at her feet. Carefully, he slipped off her high heels and began to massage her toes.
“Doesn’t it hurt, standing in these for so long?” he asked.

Jane’s delicate hand dipped into her little shoulder bag. She produced a small vial and pressed it into Triny’s palm, then leaned in close, whispering instructions against her ear.
Pulling back, she flashed a dazzling smile. “Then I wish you luck. May you get exactly what you want.” With a carefree wave, she drifted back toward the banquet hall.
