A moment later, the door to the conference room opened. Karina walked in, followed by a young girl. The six of them froze. Her seaweed-like hair shimmered with a soft blue glow, and her delicate features were stunning-beautiful enough to stop anyone in their tracks. Her eyes were clear and bright, like the stars in the night sky.

Once everyone was seated, Karina spoke quietly. “First, let me introduce you. This is Lilian, chairman of Skyreach Group p>
The room fell completely silent. They’d imagined a thousand possibilities, but none of them expected the chairman to be a teenage girl.
Karina then began introducing the team members. Just as she was about to introduce the short- haired girl, the girl spoke up first.
“Hello, Chairman. I’m Candy. I may look like a tomboy, but I love sweets, so I go by Candy. I’m really happy to meet you.” She held out her right hand.

“Nice to meet you all. I’m Lilian. Ms. Karina has already told me about your backgrounds. Seeing you in person today…” Her voice softened. “I’m impressed. I really admire the energy you all bring, so welcome to Skyreach Group. I hope you’ll achieve even greater success in the field of medical research p>
In truth, she had gone over their profiles the moment she received them, and had already been thoroughly impressed. Meeting them face-to-face only made her like them more-their humor, their personality, their spark.
Karina handed out the contracts. “Take a look. If you have any questions, we’ll discuss them. If everything looks good, go ahead and sign. Once signed, the contract goes into effect p>
They carefully read over the documents-and were shocked.
“Chairman, are you sure this contract is meant for us?” someone asked, completely stunned.
“That’s right,” Lilian replied with a gentle smile. “You’ve earned it. Your talent deserves this. Our country needs researchers like you. So believe in yourselves p>

Lilian smiled sincerely. These kids were so pure, their minds entirely focused on science. It made them refreshingly simple.
They signed the contracts quickly. Eager to see the pharmaceutical factory, they followed Karina for a tour.
Back in her office, Lilian stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. Clouds swirled outside, as if the whole world lay at her feet. Thinking back on everything that had happened since her rebirth, she couldn’t tell if it had all been a dream-or if it was real.
