Yulia trembled slightly, her sobs growing louder as she buried herself deeper in Mandy’s arms.
Mandy gently patted her daughter’s back, comforting her as she hissed, “She’s already like this and you’re still pressuring her? Are you even human? Is this what your parents taught you? How shameful p>
“Yeah. If you pushed her, just admit it. She looked so well-behaved, but who knew she’d be so calculating p>
Hiding in her mother’s arms, Yulia’s gaze turned cold and vicious as she watched the crowd begin to turn against Lilian. All the resentment she’d built up over time finally began to ease. Think you’re so great? Going up against me? You really don’t know your place.
Lilian looked straight at her and suddenly chuckled. Under the lights, her eyes shimmered like starlight, dazzling and bright.
Then she slowly took a step forward. Her seemingly casual movements carried an imposing aura that made everyone tense up without even knowing why.
Yulia watched her approach and began to panic. But then she remembered-no one here could prove that Lilian didn’t push her. And with the Sawyer family’s influence, even the Shanks family would have to give them some face. Lilian wouldn’t be able to escape this time. The thought calmed her down.
The guests watched Lilian’s expression, puzzled by her serenity. But just as confusion spread among them, Lilian suddenly raised her foot-and kicked Yulia straight into the pool.
Gasps echoed all around. No one had expected such a move. By the time they reacted, someone was already jumping in to pull Yulia out again. But it wasn’t as easy this time-Lilian hadn’t held back with that kick.
Yulia was unconscious when they dragged her out. Mr. Yu quickly ordered someone to call an ambulance.

Ben stared at her, stunned by her sharp tongue. “What are you implying? That my daughter jumped into the pool on her own to frame you? Yulia has been gentle and kind since she was little-she wouldn’t even hurt an ant. You think she’d go as far as to frame someone p>
Lilian gave a half-smile. “Gentle and kind? Are you sure that girl’s your daughter? Fine. Since you’re so confident she wouldn’t do something like that, let me show you who she really is p>
She handed a small black device to Natalie.
When Yulia had asked to speak privately, Lilian had quietly activated the needle-shaped camera hidden in the clasp of her handbag. After everything she’d lived through in her previous life, this kind of ploy was laughably transparent.
Natalie and Rina quickly pulled out a projector and cast the footage onto a nearby wall. On screen, Yulia and Lilian stood beside the pool, talking. Though the sound was faint, the video clearly showed Yulia hurling herself into the water.
The room fell silent.
No one had expected this.
Even Mandy and Ben were stunned to see their daughter deliberately frame someone.
Lilian’s eyes gleamed with mockery. “So this is the pure, kind daughter you spoke so highly of? Are you sure we’re even talking about the same person?
“And as for me ‘stealing’ your daughter’s so-called boyfriend-I’ve never even been interested. I only know Gordon. If Jeremy decided to clarify that he has nothing to do with your daughter, maybe you should ask him-or your oh-so-innocent daughter. I don’t stoop to stealing other people’s boyfriends p>
