He’d seen with his own eyes how much better his daughter-in-law’s health had gotten after taking Lilian’s medicine. He had been wanting to ask if there was something he could take himself-but Lilian had already thought of it.
Lilian smiled, said her goodbyes to the rest of the guests, and left.
