“I thought you two had forgotten it was my birthday,” Greg teased, his smile fond.
Felix grinned and looped his arm through the old man’s. “Come on, Grandpa, we’d never forget! We wanted to stick by your side all day, but we were afraid you’d get tired of us. If you don’t mind, I’ll be your personal shadow from now on p>

“You’re thoughtful, as always,” Greg said, nodding with a smile. Then he glanced at the young woman beside Leon. “And this young lady… surely this isn’t Triny p>
Leon chuckled. “That’s right. This is Triny. You held her in your arms when she was just a baby. Go on, greet Mr. Whitmore p>
“Mr. Greg, happy birthday,” Triny said sweetly.
Greg looked at her, visibly touched. “You’ve grown so much. Feels like just yesterday you were a little thing. Time really flies… Do you remember Elsa and Felix? You all used to play together as kids.” He motioned toward his grandchildren.
