Ever since that night she got drunk, Jill really seemed to have moved on. Day to day, she still joked and played around with them like before, but Lilian could tell-Jill was working harder than ever. The pharmaceutical plant was finally complete. During a break, Lilian went over to visit. Candy and the others had already begun working there-since they were the most familiar with the research equipment, they’d cut their vacation short to get started. The facility covered a full thousand acres, with everything from a supermarket, dormitories, research labs, production workshops, planting areas, and transport zones. Every detail had been thought through.
After Karina gave Lilian a full tour of the plant, they arrived at the administrative building’s office.

Lilian gently tapped the desk and said softly, “Not for now. Let’s start production first. We can make adjustments later if we need to. As it stands, everything looks great. The hospital is picking up pace too- once they’re aligned, we’ll be ready to begin manufacturing p>
Karina nodded across from her. “Yeah, that works. As for the planting area, I’ve already brought in specialists to manage the herbs you gave me. I figured we could start small for now-scale up later depending on how things go. After all, our medicinal ingredients are extremely rare p>
Lilian nodded. “Karina, I’ll leave that part to you.” Just as she finished speaking, a knock came at the door.
Karina stood up and opened it. Candy and a few others walked in.
“You finally showed up! I thought you forgot all about us,” Candy said with a playful grin the moment she stepped inside.
Lilian smiled and invited them to sit down. “How’s the lab? Everything working smoothly p>
Howard gave a shy smile. “It’s great. The equipment’s all state-of-the-art. Just knowing we get to keep doing the work we love-it’s amazing p>
“Yeah! It took us three whole days just to walk through the whole place. The setup is unreal. And the medicinal herbs in the planting area-Chairwoman, you’re incredible. Where on earth did you find those? Some of them we’ve never even heard of!” Errol added excitedly from beside Howard.
The group kept chiming in one after another. It was clear they were thrilled with the new environment, which reassured Lilian.
“As long as you’re happy. If you ever need anything, just go directly to Karina. You’re free to research anything in the planting area. All those herbs are ones I’ve cultivated over the years. I promise, they’ll surprise you.” Lilian spoke with full confidence when it came to her medicinal herbs.
They chatted all the way until noon. Then Karina walkeil in with lunch boxes, and only then did everyone realize how much time had passed. Candy and the others headed out while Karina placed the food in front of Lilian and reminded her:
“Come on, eat. Work’s important, sure, but you’re still growing. You can’t skip meals.” With that, she pulled away the files from in front of Lilian.

For the next two days, Lilian stayed at the pharmaceutical plant, keeping busy with the many matters that needed her personal attention. During that time, everyone gained a whole new impression of the young chairwoman.
Her decisions were sharp, her planning flawless, and her medical knowledge seemed limitless. Even Candy and the other brilliant researchers were completely in awe of her. If it weren’t for the fact that she had to return to school, they might’ve forgotten-Lilian was still just a student.
