Left alone, Sebastian stared at the small black medicine bottle in his hand. His thoughts drifted back to that day in the cave-to Lilian’s spirited expressions, her every smile and frown. A warmth slowly bloomed in

By the time Lilian woke up, it was already the next day.
Sunlight streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows and fell across the room in golden patches. She blinked once, then looked around-only to see the man sitting on the sofa, reading a file. His white dress shirt glowed in the sun, diamond cufflinks shimmering at his sleeves, and his impossibly handsome face looked almost godlike in the morning light.
Sensing her gaze, Sebastian looked up-and met her eyes, which were still dazed and fixated on him.
He set the file aside and walked softly to the bed, reaching out to touch her forehead. Only after confirming she was fine did he speak.
“Anything still hurting? If you feel anything wrong, tell me immediately p>
