The taxi dropped me off at the hotel and I went up to our room It was quiet and empty.
Dante was still not back.

I went into the big bathroom and turned on the water.
I let the water wash over me trying to savour the moment and forget the messsge I had just received and what had happened in the mall, Damien claiming me as his wife
A lot had happened today, which is till happening and I am afraid maybe there’s a lot to come.
After my shower, I put on soft pajamas I was so tired my body and my mind were both exhausted.
I got into the big, empty bed.
I closed my eyes, hoping sleep would come but different thoughts wouldn’t let me.
