I tucked the blanket under Sophia’s chin her little face was so peaceful and sleepy
“And Mummy my new teacher Ms. Lily she has red hair like princess Ariel” she said her eyes wide and sleepy.
“She sounds very nice sweetie,” I said smoothing her hair.
“I want to bake her cookies. Can we bake cookies tomorrow p>
“Yes baby. We can bake cookies tomorrow, now it’s time for sleep p>

I turned, Dante was standing in the doorway still in his office clothes a dark customized suit with his tie was loose. He looked tired but he smiled when he saw Sophia.
“Hello my little princess,” he said his voice warm as he came over and sat on the edge of the bed leaning leaned down and kissed Sophia’s forehead.
“Did you have a good day?” he asked her.
“Yes! I want to bake cookies p>

I walked out of Sophia’s room and went to our bedroom my mind still racing with thoughts about was Angelo
I wanted to ask Dante why Angelo wasn’t in jail but by look of things,Dante is unaware of Angelo’s betrayal.
Angelo must have saved himself after my Father was caught and Dante’s business rival but how did he do that.
My phone dinged, I picked it up from the dresser, it was a message from an unknown number.
Unknown Number: Stay away from Dante Russo or you will be sorry.
My brows furrow in confusion… Seriously?
Who could this be?
It had to be Angelo, Who else would send that? My hands felt cold.
Or could it be one of the many Dante Russo’s secret admirers.

He walked closer to me. “i thought we already agreed you would work for me p>
“No,” I said shaking my head. “You suggested it I never agreed. I told you Dante I want to do this myself. I need my own thing p>
“Why?” he asked, his voice still calm. “Why is it so important to work for someone else? I can give you your own department. You can run it. You can be your own boss p>
