That afternoon we had received word that our warriors had arrived and we went to the front of the packhouse to meet them, but we weren’t the only ones that knew of their arrival.
It spread around the pack pretty quickly, and a lot of people came to the packhouse to see our warriors arrive.
As I was looking out at the crowd that had gathered, I recognised so many people. And they recognised me as well. They didn’t look happy see me, just as I wasn’t happy to see them. I never forget what each and every member of this pack did to me and my mother after my father died. And I wasn’t even going to give them the time of day if I didn’t have to. They weren’t my pack and I didn’t need to.
I was only here to save our pack and the rest of the werewolf species. I was starting to wonder if I actually cared what happened to these people or not. And with the way they were looking at me, I was thinking that it might be better if we just packed up and left.
These creatures didn’t know where I lived right now, but then there was the nagging feeling that they would find me and put my new pack at risk. So I didn’t really have a choice.
Ezra could sense how tense I was and he put his arm around my waist and it helped calm me down a little bit and I looked up at him to see that he was smiling at me. He was letting me know that it was going to be alright.
As soon as the warriors showed up. They were in dozens of cars and they all got out and stood in front of myself and Ezra.
“Alpha, Luna.” They said in unison, baring their necks to us.
“It’s great to have you here.” Ezra said.
“How is everything going at our pack?” I asked.
“It’s going well. Nothing to report.” One of them said. And I nodded at him.
I looked back at the crowd that had assembled around the packhouse and they were all looking more than shocked at the level of respect that these warriors were showing me. But our warriors didn’t seem to pay any attention to them. They were only focused on us.
“Where the hell are we meant to keep all of these warriors?” Logan asked, walking down the stairs.
“We have camping equipment. We plan to set up around the packhouse. That field over there looks really good for our camp.” Another warrior said, pointing to the field next to the packhouse,
Logan looked over at the field and knew that it wasn’t being used for anything, which our warriors already knew because Ezra told them. So Logan couldn’t argue with the plan to have them set up there.
“Alright. You guys go and get set up and we’ll be down to talk to you shortly.” Ezra said.
“Yes, sir.”
So the warriors gathered their stuff out of the cars and they took them down to the field and started setting up their tents and getting everything ready that they needed.
Ezra and I went back inside and I grabbed an order form from the office and I took it to the kitchen and I started filling it out.
“What are you doing?” Ezra asked.
“Ordering a shit load of food.” I said.

“Oh yeah.” He said.
“They look like they’re fully prepared to camp. But they need food down there as well.” I said.
“I know. But remember, they are men and they aren’t going to be cooking big meals
for themselves. Probably stew and stuff like that.” Ezra said.
“And I will help them. Don’t worry about it.” I said.
“Don’t you have enough to worry about right now?” He asked.
“No. I can help take care of my warriors. It’s the least I can do since I asked them to come all the way here to help us.” I said.
“Alright. But we need to sit down with them and come up with a game plan soon.” He said.
“I know. But they’ve been traveling for hours and they are probably hungry and exhausted right now. And they are setting up a massive camp site. I just want to get the food situation sorted out.” I said.
So once I faxed the order form off to a vendor out of the pack Ezra and I headed down to the campsite and made sure that everything was going alright for them.
Once they were all finished Logan joined us and we showed them a picture of the creature in the basement and none of them could believe what they were looking at. They never imagined something like that even existed.
So we gave them a quick history lesson on where this thing came from and that made it a little clearer for them. They hated vampires so they knew that anything was possible with those bastards.
But then Ezra explained to the warriors that they are after me, specifically. And all of the warriors were instantly protective. So I told them that they were going to set up in a certain area tomorrow, I was going to use myself as bait and they were going to be ready to capture, alive, whatever tried to take me.
None of the warriors looked too eager at this plan but it was all we had. I was adament that we weren’t using a child as bait. And they couldn’t understand who would use a child as bait..
I casually looked over at Logan, but he looked away from the warriors and they instantly didn’t like him.
“Alright. I’ve ordered food that will be delivered tomorrow because we don’t know how long you will be here. Do you guys have any food for tonight?” I asked.
“Yes, am’am. We brought food with us cause we knew that we would be camping.” One said.
“Alright. Good to know. But you will have more variety tomorrow. If you need anything at all then we’re just in the house over there. Please, feel free to mind link us if you need anything.” I said.
“We will.” The head warrior said. “But I’m sure we’ll be fine out here.” He said.
So Ezra and I headed back to the packhouse and we had to feed the kids and bath them.
We played with them for a while in the living room before it was time to put them to bed and then I went into the bathroom and I had a long awaited shower that I had been wanting for a while today.
I wasn’t in there for long when I felt the shower door open and Ezra stepped in behind me. I could feel his chest press up against my back and grabbed the soap and started rubbing it all over my body.
“The kids are asleep in the other room.” I said.
“I know. We’ll be quiet.” He said, leaning down and kissing me on the shoulder. So I turned to face him and I

wrapped my arms around his neck and I kissed him on the lips. More urgently then I had intended to.
