Chapter 125
I looked off to the distance as I saw the black smoke and flames from the bodies that were being built so I started walking towards that.
As I was walking I grabbed the micro camera that was pinned to my shirt and I faced it towards me.
“Hello government assholes. As you just saw, the werewolf pack isn’t killing humans. And the threat is now gone. So call off your attack, before you really piss of an entire species. We aren’t here to hurt humans. But we will make an exception for anyone that threatens our way of life.” I said, and then I dropped the camera and I dtomped on it, crushing it.
When I got to the fire that was burning bright and hot, I stood back for a moment while all the wolves were celebrating around it and loving that these creatures were dead. They were celebrating and they had every right to.
But Ezra turned around and saw me leaning against the tree and he ran over and hugged me.
“Is it done?” He asked.
“Yeah. He’s dead.” I said. So he hugged me even tighter.
“They told me what happened with Logan. He was dying and he told you to kill him so you could have the pack.”
Ezra said.
“Well, everyone kept telling me that the pack was rightfully mine. I guess he turned out to be okay afterall.” I said.
“He told me today to make sure that I take care of his son as if he was my own. I didn’t know that you told him.” Ezra said.
“I didn’t. He assumed, but I never confirmed it.” I said.
“Well, he was pretty brazen when he told me that.” Ezra said.
“Either that or he knew that he was going to die.” I said.
Ezra shook his head and realized that it was probably that reason. Logan knew that he was going to die so he wanted to make sure that his son was taken care of. But there was never an issue with that. Ezra has always treated Aiden as his own. And there is nothing that’s going to stop that.
“What are we going to with aanother pack?” He asked.
“I’m sure we’ll work it out.” I said.
Ezra put his arm around me and we started walking through the forest and away from the fire and everyone celebrating.
“So, there’s something that I’ve been wanting to ask you for a long time.” I said. “What’s that?” Ezra asked.
“I heard that you and Nathan once had a sister but that you lost her.” I said. And he started chuckling.
“She’s not dead. She just doesn’t want to be a werewolf. She’s still a part of the pack so she doesn’t go rogue, but otherwise, she lives her life as a human in the human world.” Ezra said.
“Really? Doesn’t she get the urge to shift?” I asked.
“Yeah. She only does it every few months. We still talk to her but it’s only every few months. She knows about you

and about the kids. I didn’t mean to keep her a secret. I think it just never came up.” He said.
“Okay. Will I get to meet her?” I asked.
“I have no idea. Like I said, she doesn’t want to be apart of the werewolf community.” He said.
“Alright. It’s a wait and see sort of situation.” I said.
“Yeah. Something like that.” He said.
“I know that this sounds morbid and everything because of Logan, but I have such a sense of relief now. Like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The stress of Logan and those creatures. I never wished Logan dead and if I could change it, I would. But I was also scared that he would invoke his parental rights to Aiden and take him off me. And he would have been able to do that since he was an Alpha.” I said.
“I know. Aiden is the natural next heir to that pack. And guess what, now he really is.” Ezra said.
“Yeah. I guess so.” I said.
“Don’t worry. You said that Logan suspected but he never demanded a blood test of anything like that. So, I don’t think he was planning on doing anything. Not after everything else he put you through.” Ezra said.
