ALPHA LOGAN POV

As soon as I got the mind link from Ace telling me that Morgan was being attacked, I had an urgent pull to get over to her trailer. I knew that it was a weak spot in our pack and I knew that was my fault.
Her and her mother were dumped out there in the trailer because everyone in the pack wanted to forget about them. Dad wanted to forget about them. And what her father did for him. 1
I ordered my warriors to stop playing with these rogues and kill them swiftly. So that’s what they did.
We then ran to the trailer and by the time we got there, I saw Ace fighting off as many rogues as possible and there was a white wolf with it’s back to me.
I growled and my warriors followed suit, to get their attention and the white wolf turned around to look at us.
It had Morgan’s eyes.
Was Morgan a white wolf?
I could see that she was hurt really badly, so we ran past her and ran into the smaller pack of rogues here and the order to kill swiftly.
“Morgan. Open your eyes sweetie. Please open your eyes.” I heard Violet begging next to Morgan who had passed out next to the trailer.
She had shifted back to her human self and she was laying naked in the snow.
One of my warriors got me a pair of shorts and I shifted back and got dressed.
I ran into the trailer and grabbed Morgan’s blanket off of the couch and I went outside and wrapped her

“What are you doing with her? Leave her alone. I don’t want you anywhere near her.” Violet yelled. I guess I didn’t blame her for hating me. But Ace had to hold Violet back and I started running towards the hospital.
As soon as I got there, the doctor was already waiting for us and I put her down in the emergency room and I waited outside the door.
“How bad?” I asked, looking inside.
“She has deep claw marks on her back and she’s been bitten several times. We’ll need to get her straight onto antibiotics because those rogues are filthy and we know that they can carry all sorts of germs. We don’t want them to get infected. And she’s lost a lot of blood. She’ll need a transfusion.” He said.
“Hurry up.” I ordered. And he looked at me a little strangely, but obviously did what I said.
“Logan.” Penelope screeched as she stormed into the hospital.
“Yeah.” I said.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing? Why are you helping this nobody? I heard you went to her trailer.” Penelope said.
“That’s where the rogues snuck into our pack. I had to go there to get rid of the rogues. She was hurt so I brought her to the hospital. She might not be worth much around here, but she’s still a part of my pack.” I explained.

+25 Bonus
Trying not to let her think too much about why I was interested in saving Morgan.
“She’s trash. Would you just come on. You can check on her later.” Penelope said, grabbing my hand.
I looked back at Morgan and she was still unconscious, but I turned and left with Penelope. Just as Violet was running into the hospital with Ace.
I got back to the packhouse and I poured myself a drink as I was getting a report of how many were dead and injured.
Luckily, only a couple of ours were slightly injured. Nothing to worry about. But the rogues were taken out completely. At least, that’s what I was told.
I was also told that it was Jude that attacked Morgan and her mother. I always knew that he would come back eventually. I just didn’t think that he would go after them. Not after he got his best friend killed.
“Alright. I want to know what the hell is going on with you.” Penelope demanded. Tapping her foot on the marble floor of the living room.
“What are you talking about?” I asked, exasperated.
“I mean, what is going on? You haven’t been interested in me at all lately. You haven’t wanted to have sex. You haven’t wanted to be near me. You only act all lovey with me whenever my uncle is around. Are you just using me to get close to him?” She asked.
“Of course not. There’s just a lot going on in this pack that you don’t know about.” I said.
“Alright. Prove it to me. Right here and right now.” She said, walking closer to me and undoing the back of her dress.
