Chapter 27

“I bet you didn’t. You never told me that you were a white wolf p>

“No one knows. Mom didn’t even know until last night.” I said.

“Well, the warriors have been told to keep their mouths shut. We don’t need more attacks on this pack because people on the outside know that there’s a white wolf here.” Alpha Logan said.

“Whatever you say.” I said, rolling my eyes.

He wasn’t looking out for me. He just didn’t want any more attacks.

His phone started ringing and once he looked at it, he ignored it and looked back at me. But it started ringing again.

No matter how many times he ignored it, it just kept ringing. It was really starting to piss me off.

“Just talk to your little tramp. It’s the only way she’ll stop calling.” I snapped.

Alpha Logan walked out of the room to take the call. But it only took a few minutes before he came back in and sat on the chair that was against the wall.

“What are you still doing here?” I asked.

“I don’t know.” He said.

“You have a girlfriend to go home to. Just go.” I said.

“She’s been waiting for me all night. She can wait a little longer.” He said.

“What part of this aren’t you getting? What don’t you understand? Get the fuck out.” I said.

“Excuse me.” He said.

“I don’t want you anywhere near me. Now get out and just leave me alone. I am not playing this sick little game of yours anymore.” I yelled.

Alpha Logan slowly got up from his chair and he walked over to me and leaned over

me.

“Don’t forget, little one. I am still your Alpha and I still demand respect.” He growled through gritted teeth.

“If you’re going to punish me, then just do it. Stop threatening me and just do it. I don’t care anymore.” I said.

He stood there looking over me, as his face slightly softened as he looked at me. The desperation in my eyes for him to either punish me or leave me alone. He could tell that I was serious.

Bella started whimpering in my head. She wanted him to stay. She didn’t want him to hurt us, but she didn’t want to be away from him or his wolf either.

But Logan just stood up straight and walked out of the room without saying another word to me.

As soon as I was sure that he was gone, I managed to get out of bed and I grabbed the clothes that my mother had brought to the hospital and I went into the bathroom.

I got changed and I walked over to the door and looked out the window.

I couldn’t see Ace or anyone hanging around that would have been planted there by the Alpha.

So I opened the door and I walked out of the hospital without anyone seeing me.

I started walking down the road and I headed to the tree line so that no one could see me.

When I got back to the trailer I made a coffee and I sat on the bench to have a cigarette, 4)

I looked out the window and I couldn’t see or hear anyone outside that could be watching me, so I knew that Ace didn’t know that I had left the hospital yet.

I went to have a shower and put on some warmer clothes.

It had snowed again recently and this trailer had no heat in it, and a lot of cracks.

I grabbed the book that I took from the packhouse and I sat on the couch with it.

I started reading where I left off. I was up to the 1600’s and there still was no mention of a vampire treaty.

But something caught my eye that had me a little confused.

The person that was recording all of these events in the pack’s history has started

talking about their new Alpha.

“Alpha Jameson?” I said to myself.
