When we finally got to the campus we started looking around and I saw a lot of people eyeing us off there.
Not to mention, all of the women that said hello to Nathan.
“Well, I was expecting Ezra to be the playboy since he’s the Alpha. I guess I got it wrong.” I said, teasing Nathan.
“I guess I do alright in the woman department.” He said.
“I’d say you do a little better than alright.” I scoffed.
“Come on, I’ll take you to the admin office.” He said.
When we got there we met with the Dean and Nathan specifically told him that my name wasn’t to appear on anything computerized.
The Dean looked a little confused but Nathan called Ezra and Ezra confirmed it. My name wasn’t to appear on anything that could help Logan find me. And being entered into a computer system, that would definitely lead him straight here. And he would kill Ezra for hiding me.
The Dean reluctantly agreed and told his secretary what needed to be done and I looked at all of the different classes that were on offer, even though it was haf way through the semester.
I showed him which ones I wanted to take and he was impressed. He didn’t think that I would be able to handle this amount of work but I told him that it wouldn’t be any trouble.
I knew that I would be busy playing catch up at the beginning but it was going to be worth it.
I gathered everything that I needed, text books and whatever else and I headed back to the packhouse.
I put everything down in my room and I looked at the work that the teachers said that I needed to catch up on.
It was a shit load of work and I knew that I needed to get started now if I was going
to start these classes next week. Because I was going to be graded on a lot of this work that was sitting right in front of me.
I was a little worried about it, but I told Nathan that I needed to get it done now and he respected that and left me alone.
The only time I saw him or anyone from the packhouse was when they brought me up another coffee or when they brought me something to eat.
Nathan and Ezra obviously realized how important this was to me and they wanted to make it as easy as possible for me to pass college.
I knew I was going to like it here.
The only time I had any real interruption was when Ezra brought me in a brand new cell phone.
“I can’t pay for this.” I said.
“It’s on my plan. Don’t worry about it.” He said.
“Ezra. I don’t want to be a charity case.” I said.
“You’re not. Go to college and get your damn degree. That’s what you can do to
repay me for everything that I am doing here.” He said.

“Are you sure?” I asked.
“Positive.” He said.
“Okay then. Thank you.” I said.
“It’s all set up. I’ve already put in the old cell phone’s number. The one that you left with your mother.” He said.
“Thank you. So much.” I said.
“It’s fine. I’ll let you get back to it.” He said.
So he left the room but I grabbed the cell phone and I called my mother straight away. Hoping that she had the phone with her. But unfortunately, no one answered. I was hoping that she was just at work. And not in any kind of trouble. She was really going to worry me now that I’m not there to take care of her myself. Who else is going to?
Pretty soon my phone started ringing and it was mom’s number.
“Hello.” I answered.
“Who is this?” A strange voice answered.
“Who the fuck is this?” I asked.
“I found this phone in a dumpster.” He said.
“Where’s the woman that owned this phone?” I asked.
“Don’t know. She’s not here.” He said. And I hung up, really quickly in case it was a trap.
