LOGAN POV
As I was standing in my office looking out the window wearing a t-shirt and jeans, I could hear the clicking of high heels on the floor leading up to my office through the slightly open door.
I immediately felt sick to my stomach and I put my head down, wishing that I could be anywhere else right now.
“There you are. You agreed to have breakfast with me and the wedding planner.” Penelope snapped, slamming the door all the way open.
“I’ve got a lot of paperwork to catch up on. I haven’t done it for a while.” I said.
“Yeah. That’s because you’re barely ever here anymore. But now that we’ve tracked you down, we are all going to sit down and plan this damn wedding.” Penelope ordered, sitting on the couch.
“Not in here, you’re not.” I said.
“Logan.” She said.
“Listen, I already told you. I don’t care about this damn wedding. Just plan the fucking thing and I’ll turn up. I don’t care about the planning.” I insisted.
“Fine. Don’t worry about the planning. We will do it all ourselves. But I need a credit card.” Penelope said, standing up and holding her hand out flat.
I stood there and stared at her for a moment. I don’t know why I was surprised that I would be paying for this whole wedding. She was a complete pain in the ass,and was always handed everything to her on a silver platter. 1
I pulled out my wallet and gave her the credit card with the lowest limit on it, which I thought would still make a great wedding and she left with the wedding planner behind her.
“Sir.” Beta Levi said, walking into the office.
“Yeah.” I said.
He walked further into the room and he handed me a tablet.
I pushed play on the screen and it was showing me surveillance videos of different werewolf colleges from around the country that I had asked for.
“She’s not in any of these videos.” I said.
“I know. So, we can rule them out.” He said.
“What about the college outside of the Midnight Pack? Ezra Dawson’s pack?” I asked.
“That’s been difficult. They are reluctant to hand over security footage without a good reason.” He said.
“Are they trying to prove that they are hiding something?” I asked.
“No. The Dean said that they are trying to protect their student’s privacy. They only have the camera’s up in case there’s an attack.” Levi said.
“So, they won’t let us snoop. Can you get some scouts there to check it out?” I asked.
“They’re already on their way. They will stay there for a while, posing as students and they will report back to us

on anything that they find.” Levi explained.
“Do they know who they’re looking for?” I asked.
“They have a photo.” He said.
“Good.” I said, sitting down at my desk and I opened a file that was waiting for me.
I rolled my eyes when I saw it. I knew that it needed to be done but I was sick of all this damn paperwork that came with being the Alpha.
“Bring her to me.” I said.
“Yes, sir.” He said.
So Levi left the room and I started filling out the paperwork and signing off on different orders that needed to be signed off on.
I had only been working for a couple of minutes when Levi returned with Violet. Morgan’s mother.
“”How did you sleep?” I asked.
“You mean after you kidnapped me?” Violet asked.
“How did I kidnap you? You’re sleeping in a suite on the third floor with a bathroom and a walk-in-robe and new clothes. The room alone is bigger than your trailer.” I said.
“I don’t care. I prefer the trailer.” Violet said.
“I doubt that p>
“At least I could do whatever I want there.” She said.
“You’re not a prisoner here. I am taking care of you. Morgan’s gone and I know that you are the most important thing in her life. I didn’t want anything to happen to you while she’s not here.” I said.
“Since when the hell do you care about Morgan. You spent the night with her, your mate, and the next day you announced your engagement to another woman. Are you really that surprised that she left p>
“I guess not. But I am doing absolutely everything I can to find her. I don’t suppose you have any leads on where she might be.” I said.
