Chapter 95
As Cory and I stood there staring at Logan, the look in his eye was getting a little worrisome. He looked like he was ready to kill. I think hearing that I had children was one step too far. He wasn’t expecting that because I hadn’t mentioned them and I really didn’t want him to know about them.
Logan started stalking towards me, his canines started to protrude and his claws started coming out from his fingernails.
“Logan. Calm the fuck down.” I demanded.
“You have children with that fucker?” Logan asked. His breathing was getting really heavy. He wasn’t in control anymore. His wolf was.
With the next step that he took towards me, he was suddenly tackled to the ground and forced to stay there under Ezra’s weight. Ezra, who was a lot bigger than Logan, was able to keep him down until he calmed down.
When Ezra finally got off of him, he stood between myself and Logan but Logan just took off towards the woods.
“We have to stop him.” I said.
“What?” Ezra asked.
“They’ve been killing humans. That’s why the army is paying attention now.” I said.
“I’ll keep an eye on him. Cory, I hate you. But make sure that nothing happens to her.” Ezra said.
“I can take care of myself.” I said.
“I know. But I also know that he will protect you as well. In a pack full of people that don’t like you.” Ezra said.
“Fine.” I said. So Ezra took off after Logan and I turned to Cory. “Do you really think this pack is going to like me anymore knowing that there’s a vampire here?” I asked.
“Probably not. But I’ll stay anyway.” Cory said.
“No shit.” I said, walking inside.
I made another coffee and I sat at the dining table and pulled out my phone.
I called Paisley and she picked up on the second ring.
“Hi Morgan. Is everything alright?” She asked.
“Yeah. Everything’s alright. Don’t worry about us. How are the kids?” I asked.
“They are doing fine. They are both asleep but they were asking for you. And they were asking why their dad went running out of here so suddenly before. They thought you were in trouble.” She said.
“No. You can tell them that I am perfectly safe. They don’t have to worry about me.” I said.
“Alright. That’s good to hear. That’s why I’m not asleep. Alpha Ezra was on the phone with you and went running from this place. I thought you were in trouble as well.” She said.
“It looked like it was going to go that way. But Ezra showing up has made things ease off a little. Logan knew that he couldn’t push me around like he was expecting since I had a mate.” I said.
“Good. I’m glad to hear it.” She said.

“Just give the kids a kiss for me. I’m not sure when we’ll be back there to see them. Hopefully tomorrow but there’s a lot of shit happening here.” I said.
“Don’t worry about the kids. I’ve got them handled. And if you need to stay longer then stay. But they will probably want to call you tomorrow.” She said.
“Yeah. That’s fine. I really want to talk to them as well. This is the longest I’ve been away from them.” I said.
“I know. I was wondering how you were handling it.” She said.
“Not too well. Anyway, you get some rest. Savannah will be up at the crack of dawn.” I said.
“Oh yeah. I know. Just text me if you need to talk.” She said.
“I will Paisley. Thanks. Goodnight.” I said.
When I got off the phone I tried to mind link Ezra, but he must have been too far away. I couldn’t reach him or he wasn’t answering. I didn’t know what was going on out there. But I knew one thing for sure, he wasn’t in danger.
Logan may be an Alpha. But compared to a lot of Alpha’s that I’ve met, he’s just an arrogant pussy. No real skill there at all, except running his pack like a drill sergeant.
Cory ended up sitting next to me and he placed a whole heap of papers in front of
me.
“What the hell is this?” I asked.
“Everything that you need to know. Stuff that we’ve been gathering for five years.” He said.
“If I double check all of this, is this stuff going to be accurate? Or are you lying to me again? Because if you are, I will rip your throat out myself.” I said.
“I’m not stupid to do the same thing twice. I tried to fool you once, didn’t work. This stuff is legit.” He said.
So I started looking through everything that he has gathered over the last five years.
“Is all of this just from watching Logan’s pack?” I asked.
“Yes. That’s everything that we have learnt. Everything that we know is going on here which is illegal. Which is pure pathetic and Logan is in the middle of everything.” He said.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me? How the hell could he be so stupid. If you could get all of this information and photo evidence, then of course the fucking army was able to get it too.” I said.
“But they’ve also got photos of the warriors shifting. So, they know that this place is full of shifters.” He said.
“How many other packs have they identified?” I asked.
“At the moment, yours is still safe. I’m not sure how many they know of around the country. Logan is the one that started this so we know that this is the one that they are going to try and stop first.” He said.
“And how often do the drones go over?” I asked.
“A lot. Four times a day.” He said.
“At the same times?” I asked.
“Yeah. From what we’ve seen.” He said.
“Alright. I think that someone does need to put Logan in his place.” I said.

“Does that mean you’re going to take your rightful spot as Alpha?” He asked.
“I don’t know what it fucking means? Honestly, I wasn’t lying when I said that I wanted this whole pack to burn. 1 hate them all. Do you really think I want to lead them?” I asked.
“Well, you need to make up your mind. And fast. Because the army aren’t going to wait. They are going to nove in, as soon as they can.” He said.
“Morgan.” Ezra mind linked.
“What is it?” I asked.
“He’s headed for the nearest town. I’m gonna need help.” Ezra said, sounding panicked.
“I’m on my way.” I said, cutting off the link.
“What is it?” Cory asked.
“Logan’s heading for the human town. Ezra’s following him but he needs help. Stay here. Make sure that no one goes near my mother and she better still be alive when
I get back.” I demanded as I ran through the kitchen and out the back door.
