Slipping away from her circle, she dialed Deandre and laid out the whole situation. His apology was little more than an afterthought. “Sorry, Paola. I just wanted Rylie to have the run of the mall today. It honestly slipped my mind p>
Her chest tightened, but she forced her voice to stay pleasant. “I don’t mind being shown the door, but do you think you could let my friends shop? That’s all I ask p>
