Almost finished! the makeup artist replied, quickly adding the final touches of lipstick to Marlowes lips.
Three minutes Later, the makeup was complete.
Marlowe stood up, glanced at Ariana, and spoke with determination.
Im heading to the set now.
Good luck, said Ariana, giving her a supportive pat on the shoulder.
Marlowe strode out of the dressing room with purpose, her makeup flawless and her demeanor almost warrior-Like, as if heading into battle.
She looked ready to command the cameras and give her best performance.
Ariana stayed behind, watching her go with a soft chuckle.
There was something cute about Marlowes demeanor.
Turning back to the table, she noticed Marlowes belongings scattered about and decided to put them away.
It didnt take Long since there werent many items. Just as she was about to tuck everything into Marlowes bag, something caught her attention.
The bag seemed oddly familiar.
Ariana paused, staring at it as a memory teased at the edges of her mind.
After a moment of thought, it came to her.
She had seen the bag beforewith Mitchel.
That day, she had taken Melon and Adele to visit Rodney and his wife, Catalina.
Mitchel had wrapped up his experiment earlier than usual and returned from the lab to join them for dinner.
During the meal, Catalina had noticed the bag Mitchel was carrying and asked him about it.
He had casually explained that he had lent some clothes to a friend.
The memory of the bag resurfaced in Arianas mind.
Its colorful, playful design had caught her attention back then.
Now, the mystery was solved.
Marlowe was Mitchels friend! Ariana couldnt help but smile as the thought settled in.
She genuinely liked Marlowe and admired her for being brave, kind-hearted, and endearing.
Even though she was only a few years younger than Marlowe, Ariana often felt protective of her… With a soft chuckle, Ariana shook off her musings and focused on the task at hand.
She carefully placed Marlowes belongings into the bag.
Then she left the dressing room to watch Marlowe on set.
Not wanting to affect Marlowe, Ariana stood at a distance, silently observing her.
At first, Marlowes uneasiness was visible.
But as the cameras rolled, she quickly shed her nervousness and settled into her role.
The scene wrapped up with only a few minor retakes, much to everyones satisfaction. The director, who had initially been skeptical about casting someone as inexperienced as Marlowe, was pleasantly surprised.
Without Arianas endorsement, he likely would have replaced Marlowe with a more seasoned actress before.
But now, his earlier doubts gave way to genuine admiration.
With a pleased smile, he directed the crew to prepare for the next scene.
After completing two more takes without a hitch, the director walked over to Ariana.
In a tone filled with approval, he praised Marlowes performance in Marlowes presence.
Ariana had spent nearly half the day on set, constantly checking on Marlowe until Marlowe was fully integrated into the crew before leaving in a hurry.
Today was not only Marlowes first day filming, but it also marked the digital debut of Toms inaugural album.
Arianas mind raced with promotional strategies as she approached the company building, only to be startled by an explosion of jubilant cheers emanating from within.
