Theodore Anderson had a hand in this? I can’t imagine Francis changing his attitude so dramatically otherwise.

“I suppose so,” Ariana answered vaguely.
She scratched her ear, feeling a bit embarrassed.
“I didn’t actually mean to ask him for help.
”
“Why not?” Tyler asked, still puzzled.
“You’re his wife.
It’s natural for him to help you.
Besides, Mr.
Anderson is willing to stand up for you because he cares about you.
”
He paused and smiled warmly.
“I was worried that you’d be treated unfairly, but now I’m not.
It’s clear that Mr.
Anderson adores you and truly cares for you.

Annoyed, he ran a hand through his short hair and furrowed his brow.
