After resting for a few days, I received a call from my brother.
He said angrily on the phone, “Cora, Ronan is here. I just found out he’s been waiting at the entrance of Vaughn Global for several days. He myst be looking for you. Don’t come over right now, I’m afraid he’ll bother you or try to hurt you p>
Hearing my brother’s words, I was first surprised.
Then I realized that the Ronan of today was not the same Ronan as before.
He no longer had Prescott Enterprises to back him, nor the crowd of people who used to surround him.
He had even come overseas himself.
Right now, Ronan posed no threat to me at all.
At this thought, I calmed down.
“Let me go see him. It’s not right for him to be waiting outside Vaughn Global all day. Prescott Enterprises should be on the verge of bankruptcy back home by now. His showing up here just gives me a chance to mock him p>

He pointed to the homeless man.

His once-handsome features were covered in snow, and his figure was tall and slender.

Before I could speak, Ronan noticed us approaching.
His eyes widened, and he quickly wiped the snow from his face.
Then, with red-rimmed eyes, he walked towards me.
“Cora, I finally… finally found you p>
His eyes were bloodshot, and his voice was incredibly hoarse.
Seeing that my expression remained so calm, Ronan squeezed his eyes shut.
Then, he persistently reached his hand out to me.
I instinctively took a step back, a flicker of caution in my eyes.
My brother and the bodyguards he had brought with him instantly stepped in front of me.
Ronan’s breath caught in his throat, and he looked at me in disbelief.
The caution in my eyes deeply wounded him, making his eyes even redder.
“Cora, how could you? How could you look at me like that p>
As he spoke, his hand was trembling slightly.
