She faltered under his gaze but nodded stubbornly. “Yeah. I don’t think she’d have the guts. Even though we lost the baby, I’m sure we’ll have another one soon p>
Natalie kept talking, trying to smooth things over. Oliver still looked suspicious, but eventually, he let it go.
We made it to the courthouse just before closing time. Oliver and I finalized our divorce. He and Natalie got their marriage license.
That same day, Natalie posted on Instagram:
