My dad slapped him across the face and stopped him: “Save it! Get lost! My daughter isn’t something you can take when you want and throw away when you’re done p>
Kai’s face was twisted from the slap, but he didn’t dare fight back-just looked at me in anguish: “Phoenix p>
I turned and went inside without looking back.
