Declan thought he could hurt me emotionally.
From then on, he paraded Ruby around at various events like it was all for show, introducing her as his fiancée with his arm around her.
Eventually, everyone who looked at me had awkward, strange expressions-as if I, the crazy woman, had finally been abandoned.
On the third day, the funeral proceeded as scheduled.
I stood outside the door in black clothes, greeting the mourners, until a card came flying at me, slicing my cheek.
Ruby.
She looked haughty, wearing a pure white wedding dress adorned with gems that were clearly the auction items that had caused a sensation throughout the city just days before.

As she spoke, the burly bodyguards behind her pushed me aside and escorted Ruby inside.
I was knocked down and saw the blood-stained card on the ground.

In just a moment of shock, Ruby had skipped over to the casket.
Her expression was vicious.

Apparently, Declan had been protecting her so well that she’d already forgotten the pain after just a few days.
I rushed over, grabbed her hair and yanked at her scalp, slamming her head against the heavy casket over and over.
I let her scream and struggle.
Declan appeared lately.

I laughed out loud, never stopping my actions.

When I finally let her go, Ruby’s makeup and hair were disheveled, with a bald patch torn from her scalp.

Declan immediately caught her, his expression agonized, grinding his teeth with hatred.

Declan held her and nodded in agreement.
In an instant, my knife was knocked away by bodyguards, and my arms were restrained.
“Raven, I hope today’s events will make you realize your mistakes p>
Ruby took his arm, her expression a mix of smugness and contempt.
Right there in the black and white memorial hall, in front of my father’s portrait, the priest invited the bride and groom to exchange vows.

She looked up with tears in her eyes, gazing at Declan pitifully,
“I’ve prayed for her forgiveness so many times. Today I want her to get on her knees in front of me and beg for forgiveness for nearly ruining my wedding p>

Declan’s face showed a moment’s hesitation before he nodded.

Leading them was someone who looked like a teenager.
He waved his hand, and all the men in black raised their weapons, aiming at Declan and Ruby.
