Grandma May interjected, “Your family is being unfair to Liberty. Since you can’t reach an agreement, there’s no point in discussing this any further. Liberty, you should file for divorce and take them to court p>
Hank threatened her, “Liberty, if you file a lawsuit, you won’t gain anything. Your sister and these people won’t back you up. If you push us into a corner, it will be hard for you to see Sonny again p>
If Liberty pursued a divorce and sought to divide their assets, Hank would ensure Sonny was hidden away so that Liberty could never see her son again.
Liberty shot him a glare and dismissed his threat.
She intended to sue him, claim half of their shared property, and fight for custody of her son. She was determined to stand up for what she deserved and would not allow Hank and Jessica to exploit her.
While Liberty and Hank were locked in a dispute over the divorce terms, Serenity and the York brothers hurried to the Reptons’ house.
Since George Repton had taken Sonny, Serenity suspected that he had brought him back to his home rather than the Browns’ residence.
The Reptons’ house was a custom-built three-story structure with an opulent interior and exterior, standing out prominently in their small town.
He believed that even if Liberty and Serenity were aware that Sonny was here, they would be unable to come and take him back. He thought the Browns could intervene and prevent the Hunt sisters from doing so. Therefore, after bringing Sonny back, he allowed him to play with his youngest son. Meanwhile, he hid in a room to play video games while his wife was out.

Hearing Lucas cry, his older brother, sister, and grandparents came out to see what was happening. “Sonny hit me,” Lucas complained. He then picked Sonny up and slapped him repeatedly while cursing at him.
