Everyone was exhausted after a long day of work. Grandma May didn’t tease the couple and simply headed upstairs to wash up and go to bed.
She was already aware that the young couple was living together, meaning Serenity was no longer shy about it. She began moving her personal items into Zachary’s room.
Zachary observed her as she carried her belongings one by one, his eyes reflecting warmth and affection.
He cherished the feeling of having each other in their lives.
He handed her pajamas, saying softly, “Go take a shower first, Seren. It’s quite late. You should rest early and sort everything out tomorrow p>
“What time is it?” Serenity inquired, reaching for her phone to check the time.
