His conflict with Isabella was emotional. He had never once considered hurting her.

Jessica protested, “Dominic, you don’t understand. My family was furious about yesterday. No one would dare touch me now. ”
Dominic let the matter drop.
These were disputes between wealthy families. He had no right to take part, or even to know the details.
“Alright. It’s late,” Dominic said as he stood. “ If you want to go home, go. If not, take a shower and sleep in that room. ”
He headed off to prepare Lilith’s bath.
Halfway there, a thought struck him. He turned back. “Wait. What about my 200,000 dollars? ”
Jessica’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Hehe, I don’t have any money. But whatever you want, I’ll buy it for you p>
Dominic’s cheek twitched. He snorted in anger and walked away.

Everything was fine until money came up. Then they turned into stingy hens who would not part with a single cent.
With a sigh, Dominic concluded that the quickest way to test a woman was to ask for money.
That night, Dominic returned to his room after settling Lilith to sleep.
He scrolled through his phone for a while, then drifted into a half–conscious sleep.
He dreamed again.

‘I’m about to divorce Isabella.‘ With that thought, Dominic jolted awake.
He froze.
The sensation in his palin felt exactly like the dream. Instinct took over, and he squeezed.

Dominic’s scalp went numb. He tore the blanket aside and saw pale skin.
It was Jessica.
For once, the little pervert looked unusually shy, her face flushed.

The pillow slipped from her arms, and she bent down slowly to pick it up.
