Chapter 20
Everyone gasped at the incredious sight of a teenage boy knocking down a bulky man of 7 feet to the ground.
Blood gushed down his mouth, down his jaw and neck with just one fall and he passed out.
Naomi turned pale white on seeing such a horrific scene. But before she could recover, Daniel grabbed her by the hand and dragged her out the club.
Once they were outside, Naomi released her hand from his grip and ran to a discreet place to vomit.
Her shoulders shook violently and tears rushed down her eyes as she let everything out her system while holding onto the wall for support.
“Would you stop overreacting and let’s go already”. Daniel sighed when she wouldn’t stop crying.
She turned to him.
“You think I’m overreacting?? You just killed someone p>
“I didn’t He sighed when she shrank back under his tone. His voice softened a bit. “I didn’t kill him, okay? He’s just unconscious p>
“There was so much blood”. She exclaimed, shaking hard.
“I just punched him too hard p>
“Do you always have to resort to Violence p>
“Yeah.. I should have just let him f**k you. I’m sure you enjoyed his touch, didn’t you”. He yelled at her and realized what he had said on seeing the hurt, confused look in her eyes.
She turned and began walking away.
He sighed and ran after her.
He would grab her arm but she would slap it away with a hurt look.
After the nth time, he suddenly grabbed her and pushed her to a wall, cornering her like the man had done.
Her pupils dilated In fear and anger when he cornered her but her lips parted in surprise when he leaned close, letting her feel his hot ragged breath against her face.
“Do you know how mad I was when I saw someone else touching what was mine. Do you know how crazy you’re making me right now Do you know how badly I want to take you right here, right now?? You’re driving me crazy all I think about is you, you, you. I p>
A horn interrupted them but Daniel looked back while Naomi kept staring at him in shock.
It was the taxi driver that had dropped Naomi off.
“I’m driving back to town, Miss”. He called out to Naomi, (his eyes widening upon seeing Daniel), who wasn’t hearing a thing anymore, trying to process what Daniel just confessed to her. Her face felt incrediously hot and her eyes were as wide as saucers.
“W…what did you say”. She whispered in a hushed voice, so low she wasn’t sure she heard herself much more him, hearing her.
“We’re leaving”. He sternly said and grabbed her hand, pulling her towards the taxi.
She let him drag her like she was in a trance but couldn’t keep her eyes off him even as they sat side by side in the taxi.
He ignored her throughout the entire journey back home.
“Where exactly am I headed”. The driver asked.
“Make a stop at the Alpha’s mansion. We’ll walk home from there”. Daniel replied, not wanting to reveal they were living in the Alpha’s mansion.
The driver dutifully did so and after he had payed him some money from his wallet, the driver drove off, bidding goodbye to Naomi who politely returned his pleasantries with a lost look in her eyes.
Once the taxi drove away in a certain distance, Daniel and Naomi quietly walked towards the gates.
The silence was so uncomfortable, Naomi had to walk ahead of him.
“I don’t know why you’re mad at me”. He pointed out, fastening his pace to meet up with her.
She kept mute, all the while steadying her heart beat.
Once they made their way through the gates, they went past the garage to the backyard.
Daniel noted all the unfamiliar new vehicles parked along with his late father’s car.
They were here.
For some reason, he was glad he wasn’t present to receive them earlier.
Everywhere was dark but for some rooms which had their lights left on, some dimmed.
“Everyone’s probably asleep so don’t make a single noise”. Naomi finally spoke up.
“I’m not a child”. He reminded her in the same hushed whisper closing the door behind them not realizing when he bumped against her back.
Naomi froze, shocked when she felt his hardness against her.
Daniel froze as well, hanging onto the door knob for dear life while biting his lower lip all the while struggling to control Kelvin who was forcing his inner existence to devour her.
The kitchen was quiet but for the two.
“What have you got there”. Naomi asked, turning to glance at him.
“What?”. He whispered back.
“That hard thing”. She confirmed, looking so cute and vulnerable, he just wanted to kiss right now. “It was poking me. Was that your phone or something p>
His jaw dropped.
His phone?
Naomi glanced around in the kitchen.
“I’d better inform Aunt Marcy we’re at home so she wouldn’t get more worried”. She muttered to herself.
But Daniel had other things going on in his mind. He suddenly grabbed her and pulled her close so that their body slammed against each other leaving her gasping for breath.
“What if I said I had a boner because of you and I’m so horny right now, I wish I could f**k you right here on this kitchen table”. He told her plain and direct to her face, jaw lowered to his chest, eyes looking so deeply Into hers it was like looking into her very soul.
She leaned back with quivering lips as she said.
“You’re hungry p>
He blinked for a while getting a total turn off from her words.
“No..I said horny. I He stopped talking when he saw the confused expression in her eyes.
’You’ve got to be kidding me’. He thought when he saw that lost unwavering look in her eyes.
Naomi suddenly backed away, concluding Daniel was acting strange.
“I can’t just sneak about the kitchen for some food. It’s Late at night and someone might hear. I suggest we go to our rooms till tomorrow. At least now you’d learn not to leave your aunt behind, Leaving her so worried p>
He sighed and leaned away, feeling speechless at what just happened now. She wasn’t acting or pretending that she couldn’t hear him, she was just so clueless and couldn’t understand him.
She couldn’t be that naïve could she.
They snuck out of the kitchen and began heading upstairs.
Once they got up to the Beta’s floor, Daniel made his way up when he suddenly saw Marcy moving up there with a flashlight.
What was she doing up on his floor p>
In panic, he suddenly ran after Naomi and rushed in after her, shutting the door.
“What are you p>
“Shhhh”. He placed a hand on his lips and she shut up like he wanted her to.
Footsteps suddenly approached the room and faded after some time, their eyes locking as if silently reminding each other not to make a single noise.
“Who was that”. She asked in a whisper as Daniel walked towards the bed to settle down.
“My aunt p>
“Right…I have to Inform her we’re back home. You should head to your room, I’ll be back soon”. Saying that, she grabbed the door knob ready to leave.
“No He suddenly yelled and ran towards the door, shutting it while pinning her against him but this time, her back was turned to him.
With her being so close, her scent drove him crazy beyond repair.
He couldn’t finish what he was about saying and instead wound his arms latched around her waist bringing her closer to himself. Naomi gasped at the sudden grip around her waist.
Daniel had gone crazy p>
He was crazy for her.
