Chapter 71
Koan held the bridge of his nose and let out a heavy sigh.
“I will end her if I have to see her again p>
“You will have to go through me first then. She is my Luna so she’s my responsibility now p>
“STOP calling her your Luna. I haven’t even given her the mate mark and that will only be possible if you shove my teeth down her neck and we both know that’s never going to happen p>
“I don’t think that will be necessary. You will willingly do it without a single pressure from me or anyone p>
Koan scoffed and ended the call.
He knew Raiden and when he was set on something, he never changed his mind. Convincing him not to being Nancy to his Pack was like convincing a mountain to move. It was pointless.
Raiden threw the phone aside and left the room. Luckily for him, he ran into the person he just wanted to see.
Talia.
She was walking hand In hand with one of the twins while the other twin sulked from behind.
“Talia!” He headed towards the trio and they looked up at him in unison. He stopped before her and she raised her brow, feeling the panic emanating from his eyes.
“I need your help,” he looked at Jephthah who didn’t look like he was going to budge from her side. “Let me borrow her for a second, would you p>
Without waiting for a word of approval, he yanked Talia by the other hand and Talia gasped as she tailed after him. She turned to look at Jephthah but he was preoccupied with John who was dragging him off to his room to gist him all the juicy details that happened in his absence.
Talia looked back at Raiden and blushed when she realized she was still in Jephthah’s jacket and was barefoot but she had never see Raiden like this. What had happened?
“Isn’t this Alpha Koan’s room?” She began to ask but he threw the door open and her heart beat fast as she reluctantly went inside with him.
However, her jaw dropped to the floor when she saw Nancy who was sitting up at that moment, rubbing her eyes.
The sheets around her chest was slowly dropping and she was sharp to see she was naked underneath it.
Before it fell around her waist, she went behind Raiden and slapped her hands over his eyes.
Nancy yawned and rubbed her eyes before looking up to see the two in a weird posture.
Raiden had his eyes closed from behind by her best friend and she was staring at her in shock.
Ignorant of her nudity, she scratched her hair.
“Are we… playing a game p>
Talia sighed and whispered to Raiden.
“Is there something going on that I should know about p>
“Since Nancy’s awake, I think is better if she explains everything to you” Raiden coolly said.
“What?” Nancy looked as confused as Talia did.
“Did she hit her head or are you just lying because she doesn’t look like she has a clue of what you’re talking about p>
“Where’s Koan, Nancy?” Raiden asked, sure she would remember by just his name and at that moment, Nancy looked down to realize she was naked.
Blushing, she threw the sheets over her body and Talia reluctantly let go of Raiden.
He turned to her and then his eyes trailed down her legs, she rolled her eyes and turned red.
“You two. Get dressed and be here in one minute p>
He starts leaving after the order.
“Wait,” Nancy starts leaving the bed, holding the sheets wrapped around her chest, the rest trailing on the floor. “Don’t you know where he is p>
But he had left.
The two girls stared at each other and Talia helped Nancy onto the bed, noticing how fatigued she was.
“I’ll get you some clothes, okay? Just stay here. I’ll be back and you’ll tell me everything p>
She saw tears pool in Nancy’s eyes and her heart ached.
“Did you see… him p>
“Alpha Koan?” She wondered why she wanted to see him so desperately.
Nancy vigorously nodded but Talia felt her heart shatter when she shook her head.
She left the room after patting Nancy’s hand and Nancy just stilled on the bed like a statue.
Talia rushed into her room and changed. She pulled out some of Nora’s clothes and left Jephthah’s jacket on her bed. She was thinking of giving it back to him but there was no time for that. Nancy wasn’t happy and as her best friend, she needed to know what happened. How could she be so clueless as to what had happened to her.
She rushed out of the room to see Raiden standing outside Alpha Koan’s room door.
“I’ll be waiting.” He said and she nodded. After helping Nancy get dressed, Raiden came in and they all sat in a small circle. Actually, Nancy was still seated on the bed while Raiden sat on a chair close to the bed. Talia was standing, arms folded as she looked at Nancy worriedly.
“Talia,” Talia turned to Raiden. “I think you need to sit down for this p>
“You guys are making me nervous. Did something really bad happen? Did Alpha Koan do anything to you?” She asked, scared. Of course she will think of something like that. Her best friend was lying naked on Alpha Koan’s bed and the Alpha was absent.
“No,” Nancy meekly said and just patted the space next to her. “Just sit p>
Talia reluctantly sat down and Nancy sighed as she said, looking down at her fingers.
“I found my… mate p>
She looked up to see Talia had stilled in shock and was just staring at her to Raiden, from Raiden to her.
“Oh My Gosh!” Talia suddenly leaned in and wrapped her arms around Nancy, almost crushing her. “I’m so happy for you p>
Nancy managed a smile but Talia knew she wasn’t happy about something the moment she even said it.

“It’s Koan.” Raiden said and the two girls stared at him in shock. “Her fated mate is Alpha Koan p>
