I felt like crap.
I hated how things turned out last night, but today was a new day. Stretching out my arms I smiled when my eyes landed on his.

I woke around 10 with a banging headache. Rubbing a hand down my face I pushed the covers off and got out of bed.
I needed coffee and some aspirin.
Putting one of Jake’s jumpers on I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs. Alanna was sat on the sofa the tv remote in hand.
“Coffee is hot and there’s food on the counter p>

“Rude”. She huffed turning off the tv.
“No I mean why are you here so early?”. I grabbed some coffee.
“Have you heard from Lana?”. She asked.
“No have you?”. I took a seat on the other sofa.

“Big day for you today”. She grinned.
“I feel like crap”. I sighed. “Is that the full moon p>
“It could be just take some painkillers and drink plenty of water. You don’t want to be sick tonight”. She smirked.
Rolling my eyes I ran a hand through my hair. “I need to shower so bad”. My phone vibrated, 1 new message.

“Running back with her tail between her legs. If I was you I’d tell her where to go p>

“I was thinking we could pick up our gowns and maybe catch a coffee before you go p>

“Okay then”. I finished plating or breakfast. “I actually love your mom but where does she find the time to do all this p>
Alanna shrugged. “She’s always been the same. She likes to know we’ve been fed and watered good p>
I felt the lump appear in the back of my throat. I often wondered what my mom would have been like. Would my life have been different if she was still here?
“So have you packed the sexy panties for tonight p>

“Okay I’ll stop”. She laughed. “He is my brother but you’re my friend and I want you to have the best time p>

“I’ll grab a shower and get ready. Are you driving or am I?”. My phone vibrated once again.

“I’ll drive your car”. She grinned.

I didn’t reply to her message. Today wasn’t about what happened last night. It was about Jake and I, and I wasn’t going to let anything or anyone get in the way of that. I was surprisingly calm considering what was going to happen tonight.
