I said nothing else about it and went to find Jake with the drink he was supposed to be getting me. I found him in the kitchen talking with our friends. I hated the way graduation ended. It wasn’t how I expected today to go.

“Waters fine”. I turned back around my eyes connecting with Alanna’s. I smiled she smiled back nodding towards the living room. “I’ll be back I’m going to talk to Alanna”. “What a shit day it’s been”. She collapsed onto the sofa while I took the chair.
